Neil Lock is an English technology entrepreneur, SEO specialist and AI engineer. He has spent more than 25 years building software, search and hosting, and he is the founder of Zinn Digital, Zinn Hub and pbn.ltd. Those businesses host more than 700,000 websites. He has also just spoken publicly, for the first time, about having ADHD and autism.

He describes himself as a farmer’s son who turned a childhood obsession with computers into the job. The machines were the systems on the family farm, then a Commodore 64 and a ZX Spectrum. He started working in technology at about twenty. The method has not changed much since. If something does not make sense, he takes it apart. “I’ve always been obsessed with understanding how things work,” he says. “If something doesn’t make sense to me, I need to pull it apart and understand what’s happening underneath.”

Zinn Digital is the company, based in London. It is AI-first hosting and SEO, in 58 languages, run as the operator rather than a reseller. pbn.ltd is his AI hosting platform for SEOs, built around the footprints a search engine can and cannot see. Zinn Hub is the freelance marketplace he co-founded with his wife, Natalie Lock, and leads as chief executive. Buyers pay no platform fee. Sellers keep 100% of their first $500. The marketplace runs in 46 languages. In 2026 it was named UK Freelance Marketplace of the Year by 365 Awards, and Best Multilingual Freelance Marketplace in the United Kingdom by Best of Best Review.

Tech entrepreneur Neil Lockstill builds a lot of the software himself. When existing WordPress plugins snagged, he wrote his own: Tranzly, Zinn Translate, Page Builder Sandwich, Zinn Chat and Zinn Cache. He also built the 24/7 AI support agent used on Zinn Digital and pbn.ltd. “I like to be at the front of my own businesses, not hiding in the shadows while other people do the work.”

The new part of the public record is the neurodivergence. “Being neurodivergent is my superpower. I see life in code, not the way most people see it,” he says. He does not claim it makes someone better at technology. He does say it is why broken systems bother him, and why Fiverr, Upwork and ordinary hosting did not survive contact with him. He is also plain about the cost. He can agree to something before he has thought it through. Natalie slows the bigger decisions.

He is her husband, a childhood sweetheart, and a father and grandfather. He powerlifts, and trains at least five times a week. The companies are Zinn Digital, Zinn Hub and pbn.ltd. The new fact is that he has said, in public, how the mind that built them actually works.
